DEKAPITATOR To Headline 'Thrashing Like A Maniac' Tour Kick-Off In San Francisco

May 28, 2008

San Francisco thrashers DEKAPITATOR will headline the June 14 hometown concert (at the Balazo Gallery) on the "Thrashing Like A Maniac" tour featuring FUELED BY FIRE, MERCILESS DEATH, and BONDED BY BLOOD.

DEKAPITATOR had been planning its "Return of the Axecutioner" show for some time to celebrate the grand opening of San Francisco metal shop Shaxul Records and the release of West Coast fanzine Killdren's ninth issue.

DEKAPITATOR frontman Matt Hellfiend had this to say about the West Coast thrash movement uniting: "When I heard that our friends from L.A. were looking to thrash the Bay Area on the same night as our show, it was a natural for us all to get together and make it one raging kick-off for their tour, the store, and the new Killdren. It's going to be a night to remember mostly remembered by sore necks, hangovers, and more than a few scars. And to top it off, we're extremely psyched to have this all happening in our backyard the birthplace of thrash metal! Anyone into thrash knows that this is a night that must not be missed!"
